Life on Board
On George P, the galley is the star.
Chef Yiannis trained formally in culinary arts and worked in five-star hotels across Greece. He placed in the chef's competition at Monaco Yacht Classic Week. He won two bronze medals at the International Culinary Competition of Southern Europe.
So plan a week around food.
Leave Athens and head south-west into the Cyclades.
Start at Serifos. Wild, golden hills and a white Chora on the peak. Swim at Psili Ammos, then climb to the village for sunset.
Next, Sifnos. The island of potters and cooks. Greece's great food writer, Nikolaos Tselementes, was born here. Try revithada, chickpeas slow-baked overnight in clay pots. Wander the lanes of Apollonia and Kastro.
Then Milos. Sarakiniko's white rocks. Kleftiko's sea caves. And fishing villages like Klima, with brightly painted boathouses at the water's edge.
Each evening, come back on board. The chef has been to the market. Local fish, island cheeses, herbs and wild greens. He turns it all into something remarkable.
On deck, there is space to linger. Sunbeds, shaded lounges and alfresco dining.
Inside, she is bright and modern after her 2023 refit. Sonos surround sound and smart Apple TVs run through every room.
She is a sport yacht, too. Twin MTU engines push her to 19 knots, so islands come quickly.
Five cabins sleep twelve guests. A crew of seven looks after every detail. The captain is warm, professional and very good with guests.
Sail by day. Feast by night.
