Rhodes · Kos · Patmos · Symi
In the south-east Aegean, close to the coast of Turkey, the Dodecanese mix medieval castles, colourful harbours and uncrowded bays. It is one of the longest sailing seasons in Greece.
The islands sit close together, so passages are easy. Many crewed yachts can reposition here for charters of a week or more. Ask us about one-way routes between Rhodes, Kos and Patmos.
Highlights
The walled medieval Old Town is one of the best preserved in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sail down the east coast to Lindos, where the acropolis stands above St Paul’s Bay.
The island of Hippocrates, with Roman ruins in town, long sandy beaches and natural hot springs at Therma. It is a good base for one-way charters to the northern Dodecanese.
A peaceful island crowned by the Monastery of St John and the Cave of the Apocalypse, both UNESCO-listed. Quiet coves such as Psili Ammos are best reached by boat.
Arriving in Gialos harbour, with its neoclassical houses in every colour, is one of the great moments of any Greek charter. Anchor at Agios Georgios Dysalona beneath its tall cliffs.
