Life on Board
Some holidays are about bringing people together. Crazy Horse was made for them.
She leaves Nea Peramos on the Athens Riviera. Within hours, the Saronic Gulf opens up ahead.
The first evening is in Hydra. No cars. Stone mansions. Donkeys on the harbour steps. Step ashore for a drink, then return to a quiet yacht.
Next comes Spetses, and the empty bays around Dokos. The water is warm, calm and very blue.
This is where the toys come out.
The inflatable platform floats off the stern. The kids take the sea scooters. Someone tries the monoski. Someone else rides the tube and laughs the whole way round.
The Yamaha jet ski heads for the next headland. Two double kayaks explore the rocks. Paddleboards drift through the shallows.
The hydraulic swim platform is the centre of it all. Swim, snorkel, climb back aboard. Repeat.
Lunch is in the shaded aft cockpit. Long, slow, and cooked by your chef with fresh local produce.
Afternoons move up to the flybridge. Sun loungers. Panoramic views. The islands passing slowly by.
Later in the week, Poros brings a lively waterfront. The Peloponnese coast offers beaches only a boat can reach. On longer charters, the Cyclades are within range.
Evenings end in the salon. The bar is open. The windows frame the last light.
Five cabins sit in the twin hulls. Three queens for the couples. Two twins for the children, or for friends. Every cabin has its own bathroom, air conditioning, bathrobes and slippers.
A crew of five handles the route, the meals and the water sports.
Everyone has space. Everyone has something to do.
And no one has to plan a thing.
