Life on Board
You will see Mattea before you board her. That turquoise hull stands out in any harbour.
She is a brand-new Sunreef 80 Power. Sleek, modern and powered in part by the sun.
From Athens, she heads into the Cyclades.
Paros and Naxos for long beaches and steady summer winds. Antiparos for barefoot evenings. Koufonisia for water so clear it hardly looks real.
Mornings start on the flybridge. Coffee in the hammock. Sunpads warming in the light.
At anchor, the fun begins.
Two Seabob F9s pull you through the blue. The SiFly eFoil lifts you silently above it. The Sea-Doo races to the next bay.
On windy afternoons, the kitesurf gear comes out. The Cyclades are made for it.
SUP, wakeboard and snorkel gear for calmer moments. A towable for three, for pure laughter.
Then there is the food.
Chef Theodore Armatas has cooked at DELTA and Spondi, two of Athens' most celebrated restaurants. On Mattea, he cooks for you alone. Seasonal, local, refined.
Lunch is served on the aft deck. Dinner is something to look forward to all day.
As the sun sets, the BBQ is lit on the flybridge. The jacuzzi bubbles. The islands glow orange.
Inside, the salon is calm and contemporary. Full air conditioning keeps the nights cool.
Four cabins wait below. A king master suite. Two VIPs with queen beds. A twin that converts to a double. All en-suite.
A crew of five, led by Captain Julien Braconnier, takes care of everything.
Bold design. Serious cooking. Wild water.
Mattea brings them together.
