Life on Board
The name asks a question. The yacht answers it.
How Much Is Enough is a Benetti Oasis 40, one of the most talked-about designs of the last decade. Her secret is the stern. It opens into a huge beach club that sits almost at water level. Sunbeds, shade and the sea, all within a few steps.
She is based in Porto Heli. It is the Greek coast's best-kept secret. Calm bays, pine hills and some of the most private villas in the country.
Start the week slowly.
Cross to Spetses for lunch. Walk through the old harbour, past the captains' mansions. Swim at Agia Paraskevi, where the pines reach the water.
Then head north-east to Hydra. No cars. Just stone houses, cafés and a harbour that glows at sunset.
Stop at Dokos on the way. A near-empty island with a single bay of clear, still water. A perfect afternoon anchorage.
Continue to Poros and its narrow, lemon-scented channel. Then finish back near Porto Heli, with dinner ashore at one of the coast's celebrated resorts.
On board, the design does the work.
The main saloon has sliding glass on port, starboard and aft. Open them and the whole deck becomes one bright, breezy room.
The full-beam master suite has a private balcony that folds out over the sea. His-and-hers bathrooms. Panoramic views.
Bonetti/Kozerski designed the interiors. Calm, warm and modern.
She is also efficient. Very low fuel consumption and a filtration system for drinking water, so no plastic bottles.
A chase boat and a jet tender are ready for beach runs and water sports.
A crew of nine looks after ten guests. The ratio says it all.
How much is enough? This is.
