Life on Board
Some groups need space above all else. Moonlight gives ten guests room to breathe.
She is a 2022 Moon Yacht 60. Five en-suite cabins. A big saloon. Sunbathing areas on every deck. Ideal for families, or two or three couples sailing together.
Your week begins in Lavrion, close to Athens airport.
Head south into the Cyclades. This route is about volcanic colour and wild beaches.
Start at Kythnos, then sail on to Serifos and Sifnos. Golden hills. Whitewashed villages. Some of the best food in the islands.
Then on to Milos. It is the most dramatic island in the Aegean. Sarakiniko looks like the surface of the moon, all white rock and blue water. Kleftiko is a maze of sea caves and arches, best reached by boat. Swim through the rock tunnels in the morning, when the water is still.
Next door is Kimolos. Tiny, sleepy and almost untouched. A single village and empty beaches.
If the wind allows, finish at Folegandros. A Chora on a cliff edge, with views that stop conversation.
On board, Moonlight is relaxed and sociable.
The flybridge and foredeck offer plenty of sunbeds. The aft deck has outdoor seating for long lunches. Inside, the saloon is wide and modern, with a full galley and space for everyone.
The master cabin has a 1.60 m bed. Four double cabins complete the layout. Each has its own bathroom.
For the water, there are two paddleboards and snorkelling gear. The tender handles beach drops and dinners ashore.
Captain Nicolas leads a crew of three. He is experienced on sail and motor, and great with guests. The hostess keeps everything running. The cook serves fresh Mediterranean dishes, made with care.
A big boat for a big group. Under a Cycladic moon.
