Life on Board
There is a reason the Cyclades are on every list. And Serenissima is made for the classic route.
Leave Athens and head south-east. The Aegean opens up fast.
Mykonos comes first for many guests. Windmills, Little Venice, beach clubs and late dinners. Enjoy it, then slip away to quieter bays on the south coast.
Next, Paros. Naoussa is the island's prettiest harbour, all blue shutters and fishing boats. Swim at Kolymbithres among smooth granite rocks.
Cross the strait to Naxos, the biggest and greenest of the Cyclades. Mountain villages. Long sandy beaches. The great marble gate of the Portara at sunset.
Then Ios, with its hilltop Chora and empty coves on the far side of the island.
Finish with Santorini. Sail beneath the caldera cliffs as the sun drops into the sea. It never gets old.
Serenissima gives you real space for this journey.
Her flybridge is an ocean terrace. Sunbeds, lounges and panoramic views. The interior is boldly modern and open, with five en-suite cabins for ten guests. The master is a proper owner's suite.
Days on the water are easy.
There is a Seabob for gliding along the reef. Water skis for adults and kids. A Lomac tender with a 60 HP Yamaha for beach drops, tavern dinners and towing.
The crew of three is captain, hostess and chef.
Captain Jiorgos started racing at nine. He has crossed the Atlantic twelve times and holds a national medal of honour for a rescue at sea. You could not be in better hands.
She combines true sailing with a calm, luxurious life on board.
As her owners put it: elegance that sails free.
